Golden Tickets Hidden at Bartholomew County Library for Upcoming Willy Wonka Production
COLUMBUS, IN — Get ready for a sweet surprise at the Bartholomew County Public Library! In celebration of Mill Race Theatre Company’s upcoming production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Willy Wonka has hidden 10 golden tickets in the Children’s Department of the library — and lucky finders can redeem them for a free ticket to the show.
The Golden Ticket Giveaway will take place during the first week of July, and the public is invited to search the stacks and shelves for a chance to attend this magical stage production at no cost.
Produced by Mill Race Theatre Company in collaboration with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory will run July 17–20 at the Columbus East High School Auditorium. The show promises a vibrant mix of local talent, live music, and all the charm of Roald Dahl’s classic tale brought to life on stage.
Each golden ticket can be turned in at the library’s front desk and redeemed for one free admission. Winners will have the option to choose the performance date that works best for them.
