Great Alphabet Adventure Auditions

Auditions: March 8 from 3 to 5 PM
Location: Columbus Municipal Airport -
4770 Ray Boll Blvd, Columbus, IN 47203

Actors need not prepare anything as they will read directly from the script for auditions. All actors will be required to complete an audition form and a waiver. All cast members must complete a waiver and actor or young actor contract. Anyone ages 16 and up is encouraged to audition. If an actor is under 18, a parent or guardian should accompany them to the audition.

Rehearsal Schedule:
Initial cast meeting - March 10 at 6 PM

Sunday rehearsals - March 29, April 12, and April 19 from 3 to 6 PM

Weeknight rehearsals - Every Tuesday/Thursday from 6 to 8 PM starting on March 31

Tech week - April 27 through April 30 (times TBD)

It's time to start thinking about next season's show proposals! For the first time ever we are hosting an in-person event designed for prospective directors and those just curious about the proposal process. The agenda of this informative session includes:

  • A Q+A with a panel of seasoned MRTC directors sharing their tried-and-true tips

  • A walkthrough of proposal submission best practices from this year's Program Development Chair

  • Dedicated time to mix, mingle, and discuss your proposal ideas with the panelists

Whether you've proposed before, it's your first time, you’re on the fence about proposing, or you're just curious about the process, we encourage you to come spend the evening with us.

Synopsis: Faithfully adapting the beloved fantasy novel by C.S. Lewis, this play follows Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy Pevensie: four siblings sent to live in the country during the London Blitz of WWII. They stumble into a wardrobe that acts as a doorway to the magical world of Narnia, and discover they are pivotal to a prophecy that will release the world from a forever winter and an evil witch. With the help of talking animals, mythical creatures, and Aslan the Great Lion, the four Pevensies must rise to the occasion to save this fantastical world. A timeless story of hope and wonder for all ages.
