WHEN: Sunday May 21st, 2-4pm and Monday, May 22nd, 6-8pm (choose one session to attend only, doors will be open 15 minutes prior to auditions)
WHERE: Helen Haddad Hall- 315 Franklin Street, Columbus, IN 47201
WHO: Participant age will be 8+ years. Most roles will be 15+ years with a small number of youth roles in the ensemble.

Performance Dates: July 14th, 15th & 16th

Cast members will be asked to pay a participation fee of $25, and will be collected at the first rehearsal. The $25 will help with set, costumes, other production costs, and includes a show T-shirt. Scholarships are available.

Auditioners ages 15 and up: Please prepare 16-32 bars of a song of your choice that showcases your voice. Please provide accompaniment- either karaoke tracks, sheet music or accompany yourself. Auditioners ages 8-14: The first hour of each audition session (2-3pm Sunday, 6-7pm Monday) will be devoted to our young auditioners. Please be on time and ready to sing a familiar song in a group audition setting. 

No dance or reading preparation required for open audition sessions.

What to wear: comfortable clothing.

Audition forms will be available at auditions. Please have a list of your potential conflicts for dates of rehearsals.

Rehearsals will start May 30th.

Cast Member expectations: Cast members will attend rehearsals weekly. (Depending on the role, they may rehearse 1-4 night per week.) In the last weeks of the show, all cast will be required to attend every rehearsal. There will be a $25 participation fee for each cast member to be used toward production expenses, payable in the first week of rehearsal.

If unavailable during stated audition times: We prefer that auditioners attend in person, as it is helpful to see potential cast members together; however, we understand that circumstances may arise where this is not possible. If you are unable to attend auditions, please provide a video of yourself singing 16-32 bars of music. Send video auditions to auditions@millracetheatre.org. Video auditions must be received by May 21, 2023, at 11:59pm to be considered.
