Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your audition time to fill out paperwork. Please bring a list of of all conflicts you may have between 9/11 and performance weekend (10/28-10/30)

WHAT TO PREPARE: Auditions will be cold readings of the script.

PERFORMANCE DATES: October 28th, 29th and 30th.

Catherine Reardon: Late 30's-50. Assistant principal. Mother's recent death and sister Anna's breakdown has Catherine reaching for the bottle. She has a dry wit, a razor intellect and a deep sadness under it all.

Anna Reardon: mid-30's-late 40's. Chemistry teacher. Has a breakdown on a trip to Italy after the death of their mother. She's on leave from school after being accused of molesting a male student. Hates any kind of animal products. She is fragile, but fierce.

Ceil Adams: early 40's-early 50's. Superintendent of schools. She is the only Reardon sister to marry and move out of the family apartment. Her husband dated Catherine first. Ceil wants Anna committed to help quell the gossip. She is icy on the surface, but darkness lurks under the ice.

Fleur Stein: late 20's-40's Unlicensed guidance counselor who keeps failing the exam. She comes by the Reardon' apartment (she and her husband are neighbors) to butter up Ceil for help on getting her certification, but she's not above resorting to blackmail to get what she wants. Flighty, gossipy, desperate to be accepted by her "betters."

Bob Stein: 30's-50's Salesman. Loud, sexist, crude with lots of repressed anger underneath his smarmy charm.

Mrs. Pentrano: 40's-60's. The building super's wife who sells Avon-like products on the side. She's pushy, nosy and not very bright.

Delivery Boy: Late teens-late 20's. Former student. Sullen, immature, likes to talk back.
